Ophthalmologists

Duties and Responsibilities;
Their responsibilities are to specialize in the treatment of eye disorders and diseases. They are to treat patients with vision problems and write prescriptions for both pharmaceuticals and corrective eyeglasses lenses.  If it is necessary, they are also to perform eye surgery. For most ophthalmologists work in private practices, and work in hospitals, clinics or some perform research.

Salary:
 $90,000-$150,000

Education:
Physicians are the only one who may be able to study to become a Ophthalmologists. Once completing medical school and an internship, you must complete a three to Five year residency in an approved ophthalmology program. Once completing the residency program they are to pass an exam to be certified.

Reflection:

In this kind of study I don’t really see myself enjoying this as a career choice. It is really just something that I wouldn't choose to do as a career.
