Reflection ; 

This career seems very interested and very competitive , that have many doors open to receive the education to be Neurologist .In my opinion it doesn't attract my attention ,and it is just something that i am not interested in doing . 

Oral Care professional 

Duties & responsibilities : 

Cleaning your teeth is a very important thing to do continuously.In order to prevent any cavity or other teach problems is important to take care of it . As for A individuals responsibility to brush nd floss at least three times a day . dental care professionals specialized in treating or fixing dental problems .

Education :

To be a dental care , it is required for students to , obtain a diploma and to have taking courses in high school such as English , math , and science . programs offered in vocational school, community , and university .

Reflection ; 

In my opinion this career sounds very interesting , and sounds like its a goo pay . I would like to take in consideration to go in to the dental field . It seems very interesting .

Dental Technician 

Duties and Responsibilities : 

They are to maintain a patients oral health by fabricating fixed and removable prostheses . They are to replace partial or total loss of natural teeth, restore natural teeth replacing them with crowns and bridges . Replaces missing facial and body tissues due to injury ,disease , or developmental abnormality by making facial prostheses.

You need a high school diploma to apply into a dental technology program . you may also receive a 2 year program in a community collage ,vocational school , technical collage, university or dental schools. After this program graduate receive am associates degree or certificate . you may also apply to programs being offered a 4 year baccalaureate program .

Reflection : 

In my opinion this is a really interesting career , that does have my interest . I would actually consider looking more into becoming a dental technician . 

Clinical Manager 

duties and responsibilities : 

A clinical manger is to evaluate the performance of each nurse , and provides feedback and mentoring for nurses . They also develop education programs , and contribute to staff professional development . They are also in charge of  hiring and interviewing nurses and medical staff . Thieu duties are to provide leadership and guidance among staff -nurses , ensure that staff is properly trained, monitor a patients care , reviewing patient and staff date to measure the effect of patient .

Reflection : 

seems like a very interesting job , once again it is a job that i am not interested in . it is different kind of field that i am interested in . 

Speech Pathologist

  A speech therapist is someone who treats patients with speech problems with communication, such as voice ,fluency , language , and speech. It is often caused by accidents . cleft palate , delayed development, mental retardation , hearing loss , emotional problems , cerebral pain injury  and strokes .

Reflection : 

In my opinion this is a vary interested in career , yet it is something that i am not interested in . The field that i want to do is something with health and communications maybe involve both . 

Sonographer ( Ultrasound Technician ) 

Duties and Responsibilities : A sonographer is someone who uses sound waves to get an image , that is used to diagnose used for a treatment on a medical condition through the body . Ultrasound is also used to monitor the growth of a fetus during a pregnancy .  A sonographer is also to direct high frequency sound waves in areas of a patients body , also to operate equipment that collects echoes , taking measurements , calculating values and analyzing results . Also to supply images to the physician for diagnosis .

Education : 

For most can participate in training in universities , hospital , and colleges . It is required to have a background of programs such as science or health care required in certain programs . Programs can usually last  two to four years , graduating with a Associate   degree or a Bachelors degree. 

Reflection : 

I would actually consider in taking this for a career . it really sounds interesting . yet i know is something that is totally opposite of what i want to be in the future. 

Environmental Health Specialist  Sanitarian 

Duties and Responsibilities : 

A Environmental Health Specialist sanitarian administrates an environmental and health programs for both public and private agencies. they are to administrate and organize in food protection , safety, water protection, air quality , noise , industrial and land pollution , sewage's disposal , hazardous toxic chemicals , etc.

Education : Student must take college courses to prepare , such as mathematics , and science as well as high school . choosing this career requires to at least obtain a Bachelors degree in environmental health or environmental engineer . For most job requirements is to ha at least a certificate or a masters degree in this field or related field . 

Reflection : 

This career sounds pretty interesting , and its a grate job to have because its a career were you can help the environment to stay cleaner . Although i do like what this career is about i don't deem to take this as a career in the future , it is something that personalty i am not interested in.

Thoracic Surgeon 

Duties and Responsibilities :

A Thoracic surgeon is a medical doctor that performs operations on the heart , lungs, esophagus, as-well as other organs in the chess area . Thoracic surgeon are also called carthoracic surgeons , cardiovascular surgeons, general thoracic surgeons , and congenital heart surgeons .

education : 

In order to become a Thoracic Surgeon you must graduate from Medical school . It is most common to complete a Five year general surgery residency . Some Thoracic surgeons choose to do additional training in a sub-specialized area but this training is optional , except for a congenital heart surgery . 

Reflection 

In my opinion this it a very educated career to study , really sounds like an interesting career. Yet this is defiantly something that i do not see myself doing in the future for the rest in my life .

Radiologic  Technologists

A Radiologic technologists uses x-ray machines , ultra sound machines , magnetic resonance scanners , position emission scanners , and other technology advanced machines in order to help diagnose and teat illness and injuries under the direction of a physician . their responsibility is to explain patients and getting ready for a radiological test and explain a treatment that will be performed . They are to place an equipment at the right distance and right angle from the patient to make the appropriate images for the physician . They are also to assist physicians while performing sophisticated procedures . they are responsible to be sure that all equipment is properly maintained . Radiologic Technologists work in hospitals , clinics , medical laboratories , nursing homes , and private industries .

I think that i can definitely consider this career in the future , i see myself enjoying to take as a caree and looks like an interesting thing to do . 

Psychologist

A Psychologist studies the behavior and actions of a patient , they are to understand , explain , and change  their behavior patterns . Psychologist are also to provide counseling and therapy to emotional , learning , and behavior problems . They are can work in schools , clinics , hospitals , and private practice . They can also specialize in clinical , educational , quantitative, developmental , and industrial-organizational psychology.

• interviewing and observing patients
• Developing , selecting , and administering test 
• counseling patients , groups , and families

Students must of had prepare for career like psychology by taking courses in high school , (AP or IB ) English and science .

Reflection : 

I defiantly love to give people advise and hear people out when they need someone to talk . But it is not a field that i am  interested in .

A Psychiatrist responsibility is to use a variety of treatment and may write prescriptions . Psychiatrist also work for the government , they can have their own private practice , work in hospitals , clinics , or universities. Part of their duties is to :

Reflection :
This career really sounds interesting to take . But in my opinion it isn't something  i would go for as a career choice for me . Simply because it is something i done see me doing in the future .

Pharmacy Technician 

Duties and Responsibilities :

The Pharmacy technician work along a Pharmacist . Some of their responsibilities are filling in prescriptions according to a doctors order for patients . Other responsibilities are to measure the correct amount of medication from larger containers to prescription size containers. They also add drugs to intravenous solutions . All the work done , is then check by the pharmacist before giving the prescriptions to patients. Pharmacy Technicians usually work in Retail pharmacies , hospitals, clinics,and some large industrial complexes. Duties for Pharmacy Technician are :

• check inventories and ordering more supply 
• receiving and checking in supplies 
• waiting on customers 
• keeping pharmacy work areas clean 
• helping fill out insurance forms

In order to become a Pharmacy Technician you must have taken courses such as Science , Especially chemistry , and typing courses in high school . Reflection : 

this career does seem interesting and does take my attention , I would actually take in consideration to choose this as a career. I like it because it short and i definitely  see myself doing this in the future as my second job . 

Pharmacist

A Pharmacist prepares prescriptions that are written from physicians, dentists, and practitioners for patients. They are to review the prescriptions to validate their accuracy and then prepare the medication. For measuring an accurate prescription pharmacist must weigh, measure, and mixing drugs. When pharmacist is done they are giving to the customers and patients.  A Pharmacist also helps the patients with any questions they might have, about their prescriptions or drugs being sold over the counter.

Pharmacists work in hospitals, clinics, health departments, universities, groceries, drug and discount stores. Pharmacists who work in stores need to be aware of health supplies available in the store so they do not direct customers into a drug addiction.

Reflection:

I wouldn’t take consideration in becoming a pharmacist, but I would definitely consider being a pharmacist technician it is something that I will be interested in taking.

Optical laboratory technician.

optical laboratory technicians grind and fit eye glasses lenses into frames according to prescriptions written by ophthalmologists or optometrists. Technicians set lens grinding machine so that lens blanks are ground and polished. They then fit the polished lenses into eye glasses frames and, depending upon where they work, fit the frames to the patients, some ophthalmic technician work in optical laboratories or for optometrists or ophthalmologists. Many work in retail stores that have optical departments.

In my opinion i wouldn't like to do this as a career , it is not the field that im not interested .

Osteopathic Physician , D.O.

(D.O.= Doctor Of )

Osteopathic Physician treat inguries and diseases . They also do the practice in all branches of medicine and surgery like allopathic Physicians (M.D. s ) that differ from emphasizing the importance of the musculoketal system , holistic medicine. proper nutrition , and environmental factors in maintain good health . Unlike Osteopaths use hands-on approach to medicine and are frequently manipulate or palpate a part of diagnosis and treatment .Osteopathic mainly work in hospitals or private practice. The majority of Osteopathic are general practitioners , family practitioners , and emergency medicine specialists .

Education ;

 To become an Osteopathic Physicians you must of taken courses in your high school years including (AP or IB courses ) also math , science , and English . all your three to four year you must attend a medicals school . For undergraduates they are required to admissions in all medical schools . the admission includes taking a one year basic of chemistry , one year of organic chemistry , one year of biology , and a one year of physics. Some medicals schools require course work in calculus , English , the humanities , or social science . They are also to take an internship before having the practice of osteopathic physicians . Reflection :

 In My opinion is something i am not interested in doing . I don't really see me doing this in my future seem a lot of time consuming . 

Optometrist

 An  Optometrist responsibility is to treat a pastiness vision .  They are to treat and diagnose a patients problem and write them a prescription . They prescribe corrective eyeglasses , contact lenses , or vision therapy . some specialize in industrial vision safety , treatment , of vision related learning disabilities and environmental vision care . Optometrist are commonly self employed , although some work in hospitals , government agencies , optical manufactures or universities .

In my opinion i wouldn't like to be in this career , seem like you have to be very patient  and i myself isn't really patient . I personally wouldn't like to be a Optometrist . 

Orthotist

Orthotist also design , make and fit apparatus made of plastic , wood , leather , and metal that helps to align limbs that grow in crooked manner . Orthotist work closely with physicians , that give a patient a prescription for an orthotist device . Physicians can also call Orthotist to plan and design a device needed for a patient . Orthotist can work in clinics, or other private business .

Educational Requirements : 

In order to become an Orthotist you must complete courses such as math , science , and English during high school . Some colleges and universities offer a bachelor degree , These programs include courses in anatomy, Physics , mathematics , mechanical drawing , and the practice  use of materials used for the making of devices . After a year of experience  , you can apply for a certification . 

Reflection :  In my opinion this sounds like a interesting career . Although in my opinion i don't really seem to have an interest in this career . It isn't something that i would like to be in the future , or persueing this as a career in the future . 

Optician

Duties and Responsibilities:

  An Optician responsibility is to fit and dispense eyeglasses for patients based on prescriptions that were written by an ophthalmologist or optometrists. Their duties are to help customers select eyeglasses frames and then measure their faces to the correct frame size and the order them.  They are to also measure the distance between the corneas of the eyes so the lenses fit properly into the frames.   Other Opticians specialize in just making measurements in contact lens and artificial eyes.  There is also the ability for opticians to have their own store or work for an optical store.  Others work in for optometrists and ophthalmologist that sell glasses as well.

   Those who are interested in choosing this career you must have a high school diploma or GED certificate that is needed for training as an Optician. You must also complete courses such as physics, algebra, mechanical drawing, and geometry during your high school years.  There are two types of training programs. They work in hospitals , clinics , or the ophthalmologist in private practice. Their duties usually include to perform eye exams , assist with eye surgery or explain diagnostic and procedures to patients.

Students interested to become a Ophthalmic Technician must have a high school diploma or a GED certificate. You need a two year of college prier to beginning your ophthalmic training programs . This programs can take two years to complete. 

Reflection ; Choosing this as a career is something that i don't see myself doing in the future, is just something that dosent get my attention to be .

Occupational Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities:

   The occupation is to assist patients who are mentally, emotionally, or physically disabled; help handicapped and help patients regain their abilities to perform daily living and self-care skills. They tend to work with, physicians, counselors, and physicians, counselors, and physical therapist.

Part of being an occupational therapist is to design programs for patients who need therapy. They also design special equipment used for a patient’s therapy if needed, therapist also assist patients to learn how to work& home life after becoming disabled by injury or illness. Occupational therapists work in hospitals, nursing homes, or in schools for handicapped, rehabilitated centers, & adult day care centers .

 for those who want to choose this as a career you must complete high school courses such as Math, science

All states require for you to have a bachelors or a master’s degree that includes clinical experience , which must include a clinical experience and  must complete the national examination in order to become a certified occupational therapist .

  In my opinion I don’t see myself going for a career in this field , it not what I see ,yself doing in my future .
